I have never had a bad meal or a bad experience at Ichiban. The food is fantastic and prepared right in front of you. The chefs are all real showmen who are entertaining and really keep spirits up throughout the meal. The full dinner options are a great way to get the full Ichiban experience and are a great value. They include soup, salad, a chicken liver appetizer (even though I don't like liver, I love it here!), and your choice of teriyaki dinner. You can get everything from just chicken to a full offering of filet mignon, lobster, shrimp, scallops, too (of course, there is a price difference). They also have a fantastic dessert - a deep fried banana with vanilla ice cream. No matter how full you are after the meal, you must try it. The sushi here is also pretty good, but it's not the reason why people come. The decor is really unique, with bamboo accents and water fountains. The servers all wear kimonos, too. A word to the wise, if you go with a group of fewer than six, be prepared to sit with other parties on busy nights. Also, I have waited up to 45 minutes past my reservation time before. Because of the Teppanyaki style dining, I totally understand and it is always worth the wait.   (9.5)
