I agree that the ambiance is lacking (sadly this is a chronic Winnipeg problem) but I totally disagree with mj's review. My pasta was excellent and I would definitely have pasta at Bombolini again.   (8.0)

Totally lacks ambiance; server was friendly but inattentive; I could make better pasta sauce at home (and I don't cook). (5.0)

Great food and reasonably priced. Students looking for quality will be pleased to note that the restaurant shares the same same kitchen as its critically acclaimed brother Amici's. But what you get in great food and service is offset by a lackluster environment. Get reservations for the dinning room, not the lounge. (8.5)

Same kitchen as Amici. Good food. Needs a major renovation. The decor looks like a dentist's offic circa1980. My recommendation: take-out rather than dine-in. (8.0)
