Definitely the best steak in Winnipeg - if I am not cooking for you that night - kidding of course!!! Perhaps the best wine list in Winnipeg as well - nice Burgundy and Bordeaux selection. The seafood here is actually some of the best you'll find in Winipeg as well - it is just outshined by the best beef availble to buy in Western Canada seared at over 1000 degrees.....leaving all of the YUMMY flavours locked in!!!! A serious step up from anything like the Keg...   (9.5)

Very tasty but expensive food. 529's steaks are not the best in the city ~ the Manitoba Club does a better job. However, 529 has a lovely atmosphere, excellent service, a great bar, extensive wine list, yummy desserts, and a really nice patio, so definitely still worth a visit. (8.0)
